"lounge". located in lakeville, the loft is sort of a one stop wedding design shop! they've got everything, from a dress boutique to a floral design studio, to a destination wedding information area! the best part? pets and fiances are welcome, the loft includes a "doggie lounge" and ESPN viewing area!

what are we looking for in a wedding location?

well, as my inspiration pictures show, i am looking for an outdoor, garden-like feel, and i definatley am requiring my fluffy little mixed breed dog to be my flower girl!
isn't she cute? i don't think she'd like dressing up like this very much, but it makes for an adorable picture!

that being said, one BEAUTIFUL location i have found so far is in stillwater, called camrose hill farm.

now, i am so not a farm girl, but this is definatley more of an english garden feel than farm. check out the photo tour on the website, and let me know what you think!

wedding dresses. ugh, call me cliche, but i've been dreaming of mine forever. the second picture i posted is my dream dress for my garden wedding, but i've never been able to find the source of it. sigh. luckily, here in minnesota, there is an array of wedding dress shops to delight my heart.

l'atelier couture, very close to me in saint paul, is your couture bridal dress experience. they have all the designers a fashionista could dream of, from vera wang, to carolina herrera, to karl lagerfeld. my new favorite, lela rose, just arrived there, and i'm forcing myself to wait until the trunk show to go scope 'em out!

we are also pretty lucky to have two of the biggest wedding dress designers in the world holding court in edina! monique lhuillier and priscilla of boston, both located on 50th and france, are also on my checklist for an appointment! i mean, who doesn't want to look this beautiful?

and of course, if i find nothing i love (impossible!) i could always head to the dressmaker, also in edina, where talented seamstresses create custom dresses and have my dream dress made!

there is no question that my dog will be at my wedding. actually, i'm going to have her as flower girl!

how adorable is this site? perfect for valentine's day, my absolute favorite holiday! i'm thinking of printing some of them off and doing a little project, maybe decorating the walls with them! which ones pertain to you?
